ARDEN, N.C. (WLOS) — Sheetz opened its newest location in Arden on Thursday, March 19, marking another step in the Pennsylvania-based chain’s continued growth in North Carolina.
The convenience store chain began expanding in April 2004 with the opening of its first store in Walkertown. Since then, the chain has grown across the state, reaching the milestone of its 100th North Carolina location in 2019. In western North Carolina, Sheetz now has stores in Marion, Arden and Hendersonville, as well as Morganton and Boone.
