Tyler Perry Laughter, 30, of Fairview, pleaded guilty last month to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the October 2023 stabbing death of Jason Edmonds.
Superior Court Judge Alan Z. Thornburg sentenced Laughter to a term of 121-158 months, or approximately 11-13 years, in prison for the Class D felony.
