BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — One person is dead after an overnight house fire in the Broad River community of Buncombe County on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
A Buncombe County spokesperson said multiple fire departments responded to a single-structure fire near the intersection of Old Fort Road and Highway 9 during the early morning hours.
