Frost and a light freeze expected in WNC mountains as wildfire danger remains

(WLOS) — Sunday morning’s cold front brings a dose of winter back to the mountains during the next couple of days.

With our wind calming down under a mostly clear sky, morning lows fall into the mid to upper 30s across western North Carolina by daybreak Monday, with some patchy frost possible.
