ASHEVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) — A man is behind bars after discharging firearms at a motel in west Asheville.
The Asheville Police Department said 37-year-old Carl Christopher Martin was charged with:
- Carrying a concealed gun
- Going armed to the terror of people
- Discharging a firearm in city limits
- Second-degree trespassing
Police said officers were called to a motel near the 1400 block of Patton Avenue just before 12:40 a.m. on April 18 for reports of gunshots.
