Woman Convicted In Yancey Cocaine Trafficking Case

A Yancey County jury has convicted a woman from New York in a cocaine trafficking case connected to the aftermath of recovery efforts in the county.

Forty-two-year-old Kelly Daly of Brooklyn, New York, was found guilty March 19th of trafficking in cocaine by possession of more than 200 grams but less than 400 grams, along with possession of cocaine.

According to the Yancey County Sheriff’s Office, Daly came to Yancey County from New York shortly after Hurricane Helene and had been living in a camper at Camp Miller…
