ATLANTA — One week after a dramatic flash flood rescue on an Atlanta highway captured the attention of viewers across the city, the woman who was saved and the couple who came to her aid reunited to reflect on a moment that changed all of their lives.
Flash flooding turned parts of Atlanta’s highways into rivers last week, leaving Alana Bryant stranded on top of her car as rising waters surrounded the vehicle.
“It wasn’t until I felt a lift,” Bryant said. “My car swayed like a boat. The water started coming in through my floors. That’s when I realized, ‘Oh my God, I’m on a boat right now.’”…
