Olawale Fatunmise, 19, of Marietta, is accused of waiting to board a CobbLinc bus with a handgun on June 24 at 4:29 p.m. at the intersection of Powder Springs Road and Natchez Trace in Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Fatunmise is not eligible for a weapons carry license due to only being 19 years old. He also crossed Powder Springs Road in heavy traffic without using the nearby provided crosswalk. Fatunmise had to stop and stand in the middle of the roadway to avoid being hit by oncoming traffic, according to the warrant.
Fatunmise is charged with pedestrian – crossing at other than crosswalks; and possessing or carrying a handgun, long gun or other weapon – first offense. He was arrested on June 24 at 4:30 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
