To make the most of late summer with all that hiking, camping, and kayaking around DeKalb County, Georgia, you’re going to need some outdoor gear. Thankfully, a brand-new L.L.Bean store won’t be too far from adventures near Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve or Stone Mountain Park.
This week, developer EDENS—a South Carolina-born retail real estate group redeveloping the former North DeKalb Mall into a mixed-use space—announced in a press release that Georgia’s first L.L.Bean store will be a retail anchor in Lulah Hills. The new 15,000-square-foot L.L.Bean store at Lulah Avenue and Oak Tree Road in Decatur is the eighth business to be announced for the project, joining Publix, Anthropologie, Design Within Reach, Herman Miller, [solidcore], Les Mains Nail Bar, Firepit Pizza Tavern, and Honeysuckle Gelato.
“We’re always focused on bringing together brands that complement one another and creating places where people genuinely want to spend their time,” said Natalie Abt, Senior Director of Leasing, EDENS. “All new deals start with a conversation about what will make a community even stronger. We’re grateful for the trust L.L.Bean has placed in us, and we’re excited to welcome retailers who share our commitment to creating vibrant, engaging destinations.”…
