Kennesaw woman accused of knife and garden shears assault

Mariah Hale, 21, of Kennesaw, is accused of attacking a man with a knife during an argument on July 11 at 5 p.m. at a townhouse at 1701 Oakbrook Lane NW in Kennesaw, according to an arrest warrant from the Kennesaw Police Department.

Hale cornered the victim while swinging the knife. He was hit with the knife causing a small cut on his left wrist. When he fell backward, she continued to swing the knife at him. He grabbed a couch cushion while on his back and used it to defend himself. The knife got stuck in the couch cushion he was holding, according to the warrant.

During the argument, Hale walked away. The victim thought she was walking away to cool down. Hale then grabbed garden shears off the dining room table and threw them at him but missed. The shears hit the back door and got stuck in the door, according to the warrant…
