ATLANTA, Ga. Atlanta police arrested three wanted suspects and recovered five firearms while conducting a follow-up investigation into a recent shooting at an apartment complex in southwest Atlanta, authorities said.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, investigators with the Violent Crime Interdiction Section were conducting a post-incident canvas on July 17 at an apartment complex in the 300 block of McDaniel Street Southwest following a dwelling shooting at the location.
During the investigation, officers identified a known gang member with active arrest warrants inside one of the apartments. Investigators developed a plan to safely call the suspect out of the residence, and he was taken into custody without incident…
