Georgia children found safe; kidnapping suspect tied to previous Alabama case

ATLANTA, Ga. (WBMA) — Two young sisters at the center of a Georgia AMBER Alert have been found safe and their accused kidnapper is in custody, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

Atlanta police also confirmed Monday that the suspect has ties to Alabama and was involved in a similar case approximately five years ago, matching a case covered extensively by ABC 33/40 involving the abduction of a 4-day-old baby from Fairfield.
