DECATUR, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — DeKalb County, school, and law enforcement leaders are scheduled to meet Wednesday morning to discuss ways to prevent youth violence and keep children safe.
The meeting comes after two children, ages 11 and 12, were shot and killed Sunday.
Recent cases of youth gun violence
DeKalb County has seen several cases this year involving young people and gun violence, both as victims and, in some cases, as suspects, according to police.
