Georgia veterans exposed to toxins can soon enroll directly for VA benefits

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Starting March 5, veterans exposed to burn pits, toxins, or other hazards can enroll directly through the VA for healthcare benefits. All veterans who served in the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Global War on Terror, or any other combat zone after 9/11 will be eligible through PACT Act funding.
