Georgia Weather Alert: Isolated Thunderstorms Threaten Outdoor Plans from 3 PM to Midnight

According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, isolated, non-severe thunderstorms will develop mainly south of a line from Carrollton to Macon and eastward. Areas including Columbus, Thomaston, and Americus may see the most activity. Lightning, wind gusts near 40 mph, and pea- to dime-sized hail are possible during these storms.
