ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A passenger died from injuries sustained in a fiery crash on Boulevard in southeast Atlanta early Friday morning after Atlanta police pursued a car suspected of being involved in car break-ins.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. in the 900 block of Boulevard when the car hit a power pole at a high rate of speed, according to Georgia State Patrol. The driver is listed in serious condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.
The force of the crash split the car in half and caused it to burst into flames. The driver was ejected from the car. Atlanta police rescued the passenger from the burning vehicle, but he did not survive…
