Woman gets life sentences after jury finds her guilty in 2022 Midtown Atlanta shooting spree

ATLANTA — Raisse Kengne will spend her life in prison after a jury found her guilty but mentally ill when she went on a shooting spree in Midtown Atlanta in 2022, killing two people, seriously injuring a third and sending the busy district into a locked-down panic.

Kengne was convicted on all counts, including murder and aggravated assault, among other counts. The judge in the case sentenced her to two life sentences plus 50 years.
