Thomas Coleman Conway, 43, and Rebecca Lee Kearns, 40, both of Acworth, are accused of cruelty to their dog, Bruno, on Feb. 18 at noon at the Fairway Villas Mobile Home Park, 4725 Cobb Parkway, Acworth, according to arrest warrants from the Cobb County Police Department.
Neither Conway nor his girlfriend, Kearns, provided proper vet care or adequate nutrition to Bruno. The necropsy report shows that Bruno died from malnourishment and had round worms. There were no other underlying health conditions that would have caused Bruno’s death. The end of Bruno’s tail was also decaying while he was still alive – causing a great amount of pain, according to the warrants.
Conway and Kearns are both charged with aggravated cruelty to animals. Conway and Kearns were both arrested on May 11 at 6:50 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
