ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Hidden behind a locked door on the 14th floor of the old CNN Center in downtown Atlanta is a piece of television history frozen in time: the modest apartment where media mogul Ted Turner once lived while building his global news empire.
A spiral staircase leads to the small apartment Turner called home during CNN’s early years in the 1980s. Former employees say the space has remained largely untouched for decades.
