A traveler attempting to fly out of Atlanta’s airport was arrested after allegedly breaching security and getting into a physical altercation with an officer.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday, May 11 at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia. According to court records, reviewed by PEOPLE, Oreoluwa Oloruntoba was arrested by Atlanta airport police and charged with simple battery, obstructing an officer and interfering with security measures.
The 30 year old allegedly went through the facility’s south TSA security checkpoint without turning over any of his baggage, according to the allegations read by presiding judge Latrevia Kates-Johnson during Oloruntoba’s bond hearing on Tuesday.
It was further alleged that the traveler “breached” the checkpoint and walked through the body scanner. When officers attempted to stop him, he reportedly “fought” with the officers…
