EDGEFIELD, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A former Edgefield County School District employee has filed a federal lawsuit alleging he was subjected to racially charged harassment and then faced retaliation after reporting it to human resources.
In a complaint filed May 30 in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, Gregory Harris alleges the district and its maintenance and facility director, Chris Ledbetter, violated Title VII.
