First Tee-Augusta has secured money to build PGA Jr. League programs for kids who golf. The money comes from a $7.6 million grant awarded by the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation to the PGA of America REACH Foundation.
The grant will supply 6,000 PGA Jr. League scholarships. It will open doors for participants across three years. Money will pay for course time, clubs, uniforms, and instruction from PGA of America golf pros at zero cost to families.
