3 Georgia men sentenced for separate gun charges

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Three men from Georgia were sentenced to federal prison by the U.S. District Court for separate gun charges, an attorney for the Southern District of Georgia announced Wednesday.

Michael Rice, 37, of Dublin, Chauncey Feby, 20, of Augusta and Josue Gutierrez, 31, of Lawrenceville, were all sentenced.

Rice was sentenced to 84 months after he pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. In October 2024, he had a .38 caliber pistol in Laurens County. Rice’s sentence includes a $1,500 fine and three years of supervised release…
