AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Looking for ways to help the community in the heat? There’s still time to donate a box fan at the Richmond County Marshal’s Office.
You can drop one off at the Marshal’s office on 3050 Deans Bridge Road in Augusta, or 535 Telfair Street Suite 720 at the Augusta Municipal Building downtown.
“You have so many seniors in this community that don’t have air condition or they have some issues with their air conditions,” said Colonel James Sabb, of the Richmond County Marshal’s Office. “We just want to do a little small part by distributing fans out to them.”…
