North Augusta has kicked off a complete rewrite of its plan. This document shapes where the city stands now and where it’ll head over the next ten years. The planning commission discussed the rewrite on June 17. City Council took action on June 29.
This isn’t a quick patch job. It’s the ten-year overhaul. “It’s when you throw the plan out and write a new one,” Planning Director Tommy Paradise said, per Post and Courier.
