AUGUSTA, Ga, (WJBF) – Copeland Elementary School teachers were surprised when Georgia’s Own Credit Union donated $3,000 worth of school supplies.
Teachers were out on their lunch break and returned to see tables full of materials. Folders, markers, cleaning supplies and more were all available for teachers to get.
“This is really the only day during pre-planning that teachers get to get a chance to go out and have a little lunch and then come back,” Copeland Elementary School principal Tynisha Briscoe said. “So I said come back at 1:00 because there’s going to be a surprise for you.”…
