Three groups will throw back-to-school gatherings this Friday and Saturday. Kids can grab supplies, get haircuts, and have fun before classes start again. The Grovetown Police Department, Erica’s Boutique, and Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church each plan their own events from July 31 through Aug. 1.
The Grovetown Police Department throws its yearly National Night Out Back-To-School Bash from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Liberty Park. Students pick up school supplies there. The Wellstar AirCare helicopter shows up, plus there’s entertainment and grub for everyone.
