AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Big Oak Park has been temporarily closed to allow the construction of new recreational amenities, according to the Augusta’s Recreation and Parks Department on Tuesday.
The department said planned improvements include a new restroom facility, a new pickleball court, and upgrades to the existing basketball court.
People are being asked to avoid the work area and comply with all posted signs and closure notices, as the park will remain closed throughout the construction period…
