NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – North Augusta public safety officers, athletic trainers and paramedics have been named First Friday Heroes after performing CPR on a Texas man who went into cardiac arrest while attending the Nike Peach Jam last month.
Lt. Clay Swann with the North Augusta Department of Public Safety said the moment left a lasting impression.
“Any time we can save a human life, you know, it’s just one of those moments you never forget,” Swann said. “And for him to be able to see his family again, you know, it’s just priceless.”…
