Aiken woman charged after allegedly hitting child with ‘tire tool’

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – A woman is facing charges after she was accused of hitting a child in the head with a tire tool, according to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office states 65-year-old Patricia Smith was arrested Sunday.

According to the incident report, deputies responded to a home on Hutto Pond Road on Sunday for an assault on a juvenile.
