AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Code enforcement officers swept through Pace Corners Apartments on Wednesday, going door to door — exactly 10 days after News 12 began asking questions about utility shutoffs and a missing business license.
The complex was promoted by the city as a model for workforce housing when it opened two years ago.

Destiny, a housekeeper at a nearby hotel, said she moved to Pace Corners because it was affordable and close to work.
