Police arrest 2 men after July shooting at Augusta home

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Two men have been arrested in connection with a July shooting that left an Augusta woman seriously injured, authorities say.

Booking records show Jason Miller-Bartley, 21, and Michael Miller-Bartley, 22, were both arrested on Aug. 13. Each faces four counts of aggravated assault after being wanted following a July 25 incident.

The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of Richmond Hill Road, officials say. Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the residence around 2:57 a.m. and found a woman standing in the living room suffering from gunshot wounds to both of her upper thighs, according to the incident report.

Deputies sat the victim down and applied tourniquets to both of her legs to stem the bleeding before EMS arrived, authorities said. She was subsequently transported by ambulance to Wellstar Hospital for treatment of serious injuries…
