Drowning victim pulled from North Augusta riverfront after weekend incident

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WJBF) – A drowning victim was pulled from the Savannah River in North Augusta over the weekend.

Reports say 3 people were in a boat when one went into the water to swim.

Witnesses told police that the victim, Justin Swearin, went underwater and when he didn’t resurface after 2 minutes they pulled him out unconscious…
