AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – An Aiken County deputy was injured and a suspect died after they traded gunfire Monday afternoon near the Battle of Aiken re-enactment site.
Medical crews were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. to Corry Lane and Powell Pond Road, although the incident itself happened down Scotch Lane.
