AUGUSTA, Ga. (WFXG) – Active tropics along the coastline will bring higher rain and wind chances for northern CSRA counties. Sunday, September 15th is peak hurricane season. Low pressure off the Atlantic coastline will bring chances for stronger wind and rainfall for few CSRA counties. Soon-to-be Helene will make landfall as a tropical storm by Monday morning. Northern counties in the CSRA are most likely to see slight impacts of this system.
