AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says 19 inmates reported nausea or diarrhea after complaints about food served inside the Charles B. Webster Dention Center.
According to RCSO, 17 of those inmates were seen by medical staff.
The Health Department also inspected the food service unit, but officials say nothing negative was found.
Family members say they are still concerned about what happend.“We found out our loved was sick…and had been sick for about four and a half days,” she said. “There was no caregiver.
