Indictment lists 16 counts against tech accused of stealing explicit videos

GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Revealing several victims, an indictment levels 16 counts against a broadband technician accused of snooping on a customer’s cellphone and stealing sexually explicit videos.

WOW technician Soumen Sinha, 34, was arrested on Dec. 22, 2025, by Grovetown police on suspicion of felony unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance, according to authorities.

On April 16, he was indicted in Columbia County Superior Court on 16 counts of charges including computer theft, burglary in the first degree, and electronic transmission of material depicting nudity or sexually explicit conduct and computer trespass…
