Colfax smoke shop license suspended after allegedly selling to minors

DENVER (KDVR) — A Colfax Avenue smoke shop’s license was suspended after several reports and a lengthy investigation allegedly found the shop was illegally selling tobacco, kratom and other items.

On Tuesday, the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection issued an order of summary suspension and a show of cause order to Vibe Smoke Shop after an investigation found that the shop allegedly sold tobacco, kratom, alcohol and THC products illegally.

The order said this required “emergency action” and ordered the immediate summary suspension of the shop’s retail tobacco store license, pending suspension or revocation…
