You might have thought the saga of the ‘unvaxxed’ meet-up that was initially set to take place at Denver’s Recess Beer Garden before being barred due to “escalating safety concerns” and policy violations was over when the group behind the event, Unjected, announced that the event would take place at The Grizzly Rose instead. That’s not the case.
According to a report from Westword, Unjected’s founder has filed a discrimination lawsuit against Recess Beer Garden for not allowing the group to hold their singles mixer at the establishment. Per Westword, Unjected founder Shelby Hosana is suing Recess and its ownership group for more than $4 million each.
In that lawsuit, the claim is made that Recess’ decision to block the event from taking place was due to pressure from “third parties,” ultimately leading to the business posting what the lawsuit describes as a “false and defamatory statement” resulting in financial harm to Unjected…
