Cherry Creek School District under investigation for ‘racially discriminatory programming’

DENVER (KDVR) — The U.S. Department of Education is investigating Cherry Creek School District after several complaints about “racially discriminatory” programs.

On Monday, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights announced an investigation into whether the district violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI) after allegations that the district sponsors clubs that exclude students based on race.
