2 arrested in Arvada area after gunfire at vehicle on US 36 in Boulder County, police say

Two men were arrested Thursday evening after a driver reported someone shot at their truck on U.S. 36 in Boulder County.

About 5:09 p.m., a driver called the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center to report that their Dodge Ram truck had been hit by gunfire while traveling east on U.S. 36 near McCaslin Boulevard, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

The driver told police that a Ford Mustang believed to have been related to the shooting continued driving on U.S. 36 toward Denver. Law enforcement found the Ford Mustang in the Arvada area near the intersection of West 64th Avenue and North Raleigh Street and arrested the two men…
