DENVER (KDVR) — Sunny and hot conditions move into the Denver weather forecast Friday ahead of rain chances this weekend.
Denver weather tonight: Mainly clear
Thursday night will stay mainly clear and breezy, with wind gusts at times up to 20-25 mph. Low temperatures will stay seasonal, and fall to the lower 50s.

High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s, which is nearly 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year, but far from the daily record of 97 degrees set in 1952 and then tied in 2024.
People heading to Skyline Park in Denver to cheer on Team USA on Friday evening, temperatures will gradually fall from the 80s to the 70s through the evening.
Looking ahead: Weekend showers, much cooler
Saturday will be mainly sunny and cooler, with high temperatures only reaching the upper 70s. There is a slight chance for showers by the late afternoon and early evening, but the better chance for rain moves in Sunday and Monday.
Sunday will start off dry, but as temperatures struggle to reach the 70s in the afternoon, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will move in.
Monday will be another cool day with high temperatures only reaching the lower 70s, about 10 degrees cooler than normal, alongside a few showers.
Sunshine returns Tuesday and Wednesday, and will aid in a warming trend. High temperatures will be seasonal on Tuesday, reaching the mid-80s, then climb to the mid-90s on Wednesday…
