As the temperature warms up in Colorado, it’s a great time to go hang out near a lake or reservoir, but those warm temperatures also bring something else to the beach that might make you want to stay home: blue-green algae.
Hannah Trieu and her friend like to paddleboard on the Cherry Creek Reservoir in the southeastern part of the Denver metro area, but it hasn’t been very enjoyable lately.
