This is where Aldi Grocery wants to put its first Denver locations

DENVER (KDVR) — A German grocery store chain’s highly anticipated entry to Colorado is one step closer to reality after the company submitted plans for the first two stores in Denver.

The company earlier this year announced a major expansion plan that included 50 stores coming to Colorado within the next two years in the Denver and Colorado Springs areas. On Wednesday, Aldi Grocery submitted concept plans for two 19,000-square-feet locations in northeast Denver.

One location is at 9111 E. 40th Ave. in the Central Park neighborhood near QuikTrip, Cracker Barrel and Chick-fil-A just off Central Park Boulevard…
