A popular cafe spot on the edge of Denver’s Cheesman Park will reopen soon — but under a new name.The Carriage House, a new European-style cafe, will open at the end of the month in the former home of Secret Garden, which abruptly closed last year following employees claiming City Street Investors was union busting while the owners stated the business was running out of money.
The cafe will be under a different ownership team including Denver entrepreneur John Goshcha and seasoned hospitality expert Jake Riederer, who had worked with OPEN Sandwiches, Congress Park Market, Work & Class and Super Mega Bien. Goshcha is the founder of several startups including Personality AI, Lucidity Lights, Native Voice and IdeaPaint, according to his LinkedIn.
