COLORADO — Another round of showers and thunderstorms is bubbling up across Colorado this afternoon, with radar as of 2:41 p.m. showing multiple areas of development stretching from the Western Slope through the Front Range and into southern Colorado. Storms are behaving erratically, developing in areas that don’t always see consistent activity.
Storms Developing Across the Western Slope
Radar shows storm activity developing near Meeker and Rangely on the Western Slope, with additional cells visible near Grand Junction, Delta, and Gunnison. Activity in this region appears scattered, with storms popping up independently across multiple counties rather than in one continuous line.
Farther south, communities including Montrose, Ridgway, and Telluride are also seeing scattered shower and storm development, consistent with the broader pattern of erratic monsoon-driven activity across the western half of the state.
