DENVER (KDVR) — Six people were indicted by a grand jury on a total of 38 drug-related counts following a multi-month drug bust in the Denver metro area, the Colorado Attorney General’s Office announced in a press release on Tuesday.
The alleged drug-distribution-related crimes happened in the Denver metro between October 2025 and June 2026.

“Keeping drugs out of our communities is one of my top priorities,” said Attorney General Weiser in the press release. “Seizures like this send the message that we will hold drug traffickers accountable for the dangers they bring to our state.”
According to the indictment filed on Aug. 24, law enforcement tracked, surveilled and apprehended several defendants between Oct. 19, 2025, and June 11, 2026, for their roles in selling, purchasing or conspiring to distribute illicit substances as part of a larger criminal enterprise. The people apprehended include:
- Jorge Misael Cabello-Fernandez
- Luis Plantilla-Alonso
- Juan Carlos Nunez-Hernandez
- Mauricio Castellon Aldrete
- Juan Luis Rosales-Duran
- Jose Salvador Del Real Ruiz
Following an undercover operation, law enforcement was able to secure a search warrant for a home in Aurora believed to be the enterprise’s stash house for the drugs. During the warrant execution, investigators found over 4,360 grams of illicit drugs, including:
- Over 19,000 counterfeit M30 pills containing fentanyl, weighing over 2,150 grams
- Over 182 grams of fentanyl powder
- Over 3,727 grams of methamphetamine
- Over 279 grams of heroin
- Over 210 grams of cocaine
