DENVER (KDVR) — Troopers located an abandoned pickup truck believed to be the suspect vehicle in a deadly hit-and-run on Monday night, the Colorado State Patrol reported in a press release on Tuesday morning.
On Monday, around 9:16 p.m., CSP responded to a reported two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the area of southbound Highway 287 and West 66th Avenue.

In an update on Tuesday, CSP said that further investigation determined that the two people were crossing Highway 287 on foot and were not on a motorcycle or in a second vehicle.
When troopers arrived at the scene of the crash, they said preliminary information determined that a black Mercedes-Benz GL320 motorcycle was traveling southbound on Highway 287 near West 66th Avenue when it was hit by another vehicle that fled the scene of the crash…
