2 juveniles charged in Denver sports bar shooting that injured 4

DENVER (KDVR) — Two juvenile suspects have been charged in connection to a shooting that injured four the night of March 2 at a Denver metro sports bar.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting took place at 52Eighty Sports Bar on Broadway. Four people were injured, including a 17-year-old who was shot in the leg and one of the teen’s female relatives, who was shot in the chest .

On Monday, a family member told FOX31 that both were still in critical condition and that they were at the bar to celebrate the 60th birthday of one of their relatives.

No updates were available for the other two victims.

On Thursday, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office confirmed two suspects were charged in connection to the shooting. The suspects’ names and ages have not been released because they are juveniles and the cases are expected to remain in juvenile court.
