DENVER (KDVR) — Spring showers and cooler temperatures are in Denver’s weather forecast heading into the new workweek.
A fire weather warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday for dry and breezy conditions. Wind gusts will remain around 35 to 45 mph, which could promote rapid fire spread.

Weather tonight: Breezy, chance showers
Sunday night will stay breezy with wind gusts over 30 mph. Clouds will increase ahead of the chance for rain showers late. Temperatures will stay seasonally mild and only fall to around 40 degrees.
Weather tomorrow: Showers, breezy, cooler
The workweek will start off with the chance for showers and breezy conditions. Temperatures will be cooler, but more seasonal, only reaching a high in the mid-60s.
Looking ahead: More afternoon shower chances
Tuesday will start off with sunshine, followed by increasing clouds and a few afternoon showers. Temperatures will stay seasonally cooler, only reaching the mid-60s.
Wednesday, temperatures will climb to around 70 degrees ahead of the chance for a few afternoon thunderstorms as a cold front approaches. This front will aid in knocking down temperatures back to the 60s on Thursday, alongside more shower chances.
